JQ Broken? - Guild Wars Forums

I've been working on lux title recently and it is so frustrating to have a team with practically all leechers and bots. Why am I not seeing banscythes everywhere for this? The bot behavior is obvious, the leechers are constantly reported and yet I have without a doubt seen the same leecher in JQ lux for over 2 months. I'm seriously considering just leeching myself since nothing seems to happen to these people...

is leeching even bannable? I know you get that Dishonorable hex but other then that...

but yeah that's why I only do JQ/FA on ZC or bonus weekend days.

I hear Luxons are pretty successful in FA/AB lately. Maybe you should try there, and like Valerius said, JQ on the days when it's the ZC.

Some of the JQ bots have been running around for close to a year with no ban. Anet would much rather spend time giving us costumes than fix the game

But you need generous friends or a very helpful guild for those. I don't have either and I can't stand PUGs, they're extremely unforgiving.

Hold on 1 sec .. with h/h or guildies and not SC we can manage 16 - 20 mins for mq vq which is avg 3 runs an hr for 10kish faction a run ( has even been said by other on guru its easily doable ) so you dont need either a helpful guild or friends ( h/h but firends do make it more fun ).
PPl have to stop making escuses that they cant do xxxx - mqvq isnt exactly hard and from what i last knu 16 mins isnt that much slower that the slowest mqsc - around 4 mins i believe.

I know some guildies hide from the words SC as you need set builds etc etc but say lets do mqvq with no set builds or synergy and my guildies tend to join in no probs.We`ve never done a single sc in our alliance but prefer vq or doing things the long way - its more fun ( and chaotic lol ).There is life in gw thats beyond SC and before the term SC was even setup players did things the old way - even balanced UW/Fow teams used to exist.

According to an email i have from support, Leeching is a bannable offence!

As for the Bots...........support ticket 2 months long and they`re still there, names, screenshots etc all supplied, Anet says they can`t detect any botlike behaviour

Gamecam recordings are the only way to prove it it seems, though as the support site times out while i`m trying to upload them................

I have a feeling anets going to do like before - wait a while then do mass bot banning .
This send a message to many players ( specially new ) that bot and they will ban .. making a big example of it .. what looks more impressive on paper ... a hundred bots a week or a couple of thousand banned in 1 go ? .. the latter always seems to apply.

Maybe anet should set aside a bit of cash and "hire" the bot producers to assist in anti bot detection and decrease the bots totally - some firms do hire "hackers" to test and improve their security systems.

Considering the first thing you see when you log in and launch is a message announcing the banning of 3700 accounts, that doesn`t seem to have much effect !

Fact is while the bot users can run 3,4,5 accounts and sell the z keys they get from them for real cash it`ll never stop. Anet need to improve their detection methods first off, or do something like introduce mods for the pvp arenas who can study the games and yank suspicious players out.

Sadly i think you`re right

The eternal optimist/idiot in me hopes we`re both wrong though, i have managed to get ONE bot banned , still leaves about 30 though
